a Rosie Posie birthday!

I have a Rosie Posie birthday card that I recently made for a good friend to share today! The color palette is PTI Simply Chartreuse, Summer Sunrise, Canyon Clay and Vintage Cream. I embossed the cardbase with the Woodgrain Impression Plate, but first I applied Versamark ink to the plate. I love how it gives the embossing just that extra little added "umph".

I love that teeny tiny little scalloped border that peeks out from behind the panel. That's the new Heart Border Die! I was on the fence about getting this die (cute, but how often would I use it??) until I saw someone use it as a mini-scallop like this.... then it had to come live with me!

The sentiment is from Big Birthday Wishes, and the background of the panel is Polka Dot Basics 2, stamped in Canyon Clay on Summer Sunrise.

Thanks for stopping by!

LOVE this! The colors are amazing and the layout it great. I've never tried using Versmark on my impression plate. I'm going to now. Thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous card. Love the colors of the Rosie Posie. The background of the big dots goes perfectly. I need to try using Versamark on my IP as I never had done that. It sure does make it pop.

Pretty! Pretty! Pretty! I must confess that I am a little bit afraid of that stem and leaves stamp form Rosie Posie. But you may have just given me wings to try it. It looks so effective. The added embossing does make it pop that is for sure. Those darker petal tips are just magic. I am a big fan of those weeny scallops too. So sweet. Wonderful card Miss Deb. Just wonderful.
