history right before our eyes
I love this Scenic Route Liberty collection, and it was perfect for my pictures of our recent visit to the US Air Force Museum with my dad! This is part of my Allyscraps work this month.
Journaling:
During our visit in Ohio where we met up with Pa-pa, we took the opportunity to visit the U.S. Air Force Museum in Dayton. What a great experience!
There were so many planes – from the earliest Wright Brothers’ experiments, right up to modern day marvels and even a space shuttle.
You were able to walk inside a few of the planes, and even each took a turn sitting in the cockpit of an F-4.
What a special treat it was to visit the museum with Grandpa, who not only spent several years of his career in an office that overlooked the museum location, but actually had a hand in negotiating the government contracts for some of the planes that we saw!
I am so grateful to be able to share a piece of the history of our great country with you both at such an awesome museum!
