the best times are the everyday moments

I love, love, love the new Man of the House line from Bella Blvd! The earthy, masculine colors were perfect for these pics of Mark and the boys when we went on a hike at a local park last fall.

This is my last page as a May Guest Designer for Allyscraps. Be sure to check out the Allyscraps Blog to see the sketch this page is based on and find out the details for the June Sketch Contest! And, I'm happy to report that I'll be creating sketches regularly for the Allyscraps Blog!

Journaling:
What a perfect fall day for a hike at White Oak Park. The hiking trail through this wooded section of the park is incredibly beautiful, and it was just the four of us – we didn’t see another person the whole afternoon. It was so peaceful and pleasant. Daddy has always loved nature hikes, and now experiencing it with his sons is like a dream come true for him. One of our greatest joys as parents is sharing with the two of you the things that have always brought us happiness and joy. Exploring the natural beauty of God’s splendor together is just one of the ways we hope to instill in you an appreciation for the outdoors and a respect for the glory of God’s remarkable creation.
