the magic of Christmas
I did this page to go with one of my sketches for the Sketch Challenge over at Allyscraps! The papers, large title letters, and die-cut tags are all from the Sassafras Lass Starry Night line.
Journaling:
Such an exciting night! I'm sure that Santa's Reindeer must have appreciated the magic reindeer food that we left out for them.
natural wonder
I don't believe that I will EVER get tired of this Basic Grey Mellow! Also used Making Memories metal embellies, AMM brads, older BG letters and rub-on.
Journaling:
What perfect weather we had to enjoy a beautiful summer day at South Park. After a fun time in the VIP area with the go carts, bumper boats and mini golf, we made our way over to the Game Preserve. There aren’t really all that many animals there, but it’s still a nice walk in a lovely setting. After watching the ducks and spotting some turtles in the pond, we walked up the path and checked out the buffalo. They were impressive, but stinky! Ryan thought he saw some wild turkeys in the woods and went on a reconnaissancemission looking for them, but they had run away.July 1, 2007
just one... please!
not this year
Used Scenic Route Roxbury for this page, from Allyscraps!
Journaling: We thought this might be the year that you were ready to see Santa. You were so excited - right up to the last minute, when you just couldn't do it. Maybe next year!

a chip off the old block
Journaling:
"Mommy, come see my train table - look what I did!" You were so proud to show me how carefully you had reorganized your train cars and accessories in their bins. Right away, I thought of Daddy's tool chest - everything neat and tidy, in its place! You and Daddy don't just look alike, you ask so similar - you are 2 of a kind! 1/08
day at the museum
Journaling:
After waiting over a year for renovations to be done in Dinosaur Hall, we finally got back to The Carnegie Museum of Natural History to see the new exhibit! Unfortunately, the T-Rex display won’t be done until spring, but there were lots of other dinosaurs to see. To add to the fun, Jacob and his mom came with us for the day. The boys were awed by the massive dinosaur skeletons, and had fun digging for bones themselves in the Bonehunters Quarry. They didn’t unearth any startling new species, but they did have a positively fabulous Day at the Museum!

This was really some "hands on fun!" Our first Cub Scout Den outing to the Oliver Miller Homestead for the children's harvest festival.
